Connecting markets
FarCargo mainly operates between our homebase in the Faroe Islands and airports on the central European Continent. Since our first flight in March 2024, we have added Brussels and Liege in Belgium, Shannon in Ireland and East Midlands in the UK to our most regular destinations. On a busy week we fly up to 10 turnarounds to Brussels and this gives opportunities for the Faroese import market.
In addition we have operated several special Charter flights to the US, Iceland, Finland and the Czech Republic. With a range of 7.000 km (4350 miles) we can fly to a wide range of destinations within Europe and even the Middle East with our Boeing 757-200F. Maximum payload is 35 T. (77.000 lbs).

Supreme quality to our customers
On March 5th. 2024 we launched operations with the inaugural flight of our Boeing 757-200C to Newark Intl. airport in New York. On the Cargo Deck were 32 tons of freshly slaughtered Supreme Salmon from Bakkafrost bound for the American market.

This new route will ensure prolonged shelf-life due to shortened transportation and an unbroken cooling chain”.
We have a modified aircondition system, able to cool the entire 182 m³ main deck cargo compartment down to around 2 deg. C (36 deg F), ideal for transporting perishable goods, medicine or other goods requiring a cool environment.
The total cargo space is approx. 235 m³, offering the capacity of up to 35.000 kg (77.000 lb.) to the B2B and ACMI marked. The configuration/capacity is 13 PMC´s. 125x96in (317x244cm)
The return flight to the Faroe Islands offers a great opportunity to the Faroese market, as there will be several flights a week, making it perfect for a regular delivery of goods or special freight.
